How did Arshad Sharif's photos get leaked? Investigative Committee...

A meeting of the investigation committee has been called for November 14..

Islamabad's Pimms Hospital has formed an investigation committee after the alleged post-mortem photos of Pakistani journalist Arshad Sharif, who was shot dead in Kenya, were leaked.
According to the notification issued by the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on Saturday, the two-member committee will be headed by Director Hospital Dr. Khalid Mehsud.

The meeting of the committee has been called on November 14 and all the members of the medical board including the hospital administration have been directed to attend the meeting.
Speaking to Urdu News on Friday, PIMS director Dr. Khalid Masood said that the hospital has written a letter to PEMRA and requested to take action on the issue of airing pictures of Arshad Sharif's tortured body on TV a few days ago.
A few days ago, the local TV Dunya News claimed that the late Arshad Sharif was brutally tortured before his murder in Kenya and also showed pictures in this regard.
According to Pims management, apparently the images shown on TV have been leaked to the media from Pims Hospital itself.

Dr. Khalid Masood has formed a 6-member committee in this regard, which will investigate how these pictures reached the media.
He said that Pims management will take necessary action against those responsible when the report of the committee comes out.
Speaking to Geo News' show Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada on Thursday, Dr. Khalid Masood said that the post-mortem photos he has are similar to the leaked samples.
Naho said that the head of the post-mortem team has identified 12 marks of torture on Arshad Sharif's body.
Dr. Khalid said that according to the initial report, marks of torture were found on Arshad Sharif's right wrist and four fingers of his hand were missing nails.
Nails may have been removed during post-mortems in Kenya.
According to the director of PIMS, forensics is being conducted in this regard, the report of which will come out, then it will be known how much violence has happened or not.
The director of Pims Hospital said that we have not received the report of the post-mortem conducted in Kenya...
