The FIR of the attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan has not yet been filed. The situation has changed to a great extent after the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday gave a twenty-four-hour deadline for registration of FIRs.
Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi held a long meeting with Imran Khan at Zaman Park after the court order. It is believed that there was a detailed discussion regarding the contents of the FIR in this meeting. However, in the evening, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi again reached Zaman Park and held a long consultation.
On the other hand, IG Punjab Faisal Shahkar participated in the hearing held in the Supreme Court through a video link from Lahore. The IG Punjab had told the court that the Punjab government had prohibited him from registering the FIR.
It should be noted that a day ago I Punjab apologized for continuing the work due to personal reasons and requested the federal government to transfer him. A senior officer of the Punjab Police told Urdu News on the condition of anonymity that the case will be filed on the order of the Supreme Court. In this regard, the police have given their position to the Chief Minister of Punjab. Now the Chief Minister is consulting the Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf on his own regarding the text of the FIR. Even if they do not come to any conclusion, then the police will register an FR on the actual facts of the incident.;
On the other hand, the work in Wazirabad police station Kunjah is technically and practically suspended. An official of the police station told Urdu News that no entry has been made in the daily since November 3 in the police station. Because the work was stopped due to the non-decision of the FIR of the attack on Imran Khan, as soon as the FIR is cut, it will be filed on the same date.
